Friends' Argument Takes Deadly Turn For Lancaster Man

SHERMAN OAKS –  A Lancaster man was killed after he and his two friends got into an argument at a park in Sherman Oaks earlier this week, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

 

Two teenagers, Brian Figueroa, 18, and Bronco Corzo, 17,  were drinking alcohol with Justin Dunlap, 24, when they got in to an argument. Figueroa, of Van Nuys, and Corzo, attacked Dunlap, of Lancaster.

 

Dunlap died Wednesday at a local hospital after the brawl at Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks War Memorial Park, according to a LAPD report.

 

Figueroa and Corzo face on count of murder. Corzo, who allegedly used a metal pipe in the attack, will be tried as an adult. Both teens have previously been convicted of robbery. according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

 

A fourth member of the group, a juvenile female, witnessed the attack and was cooperating with the investigation, according to the LAPD.
