Burglary Tied To Vagos Gang, Suspected Members Arrested

LANCASTER - A home burglary on Tuesday occurred in the area of 90th St. West and Avenue C-10 in Lancaster. During the burglary multiple firearms, including high powered rifles were stolen, along with valuable coins, electronics and other items.
 
On Wednesday, Gregory Whitfield, 29, of Lancaster was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of a handgun that was stolen during the residential burglary. A follow up investigation by the Lancaster Station Burglary Suppression Team was conducted and a search warrant was obtained for the residence of Gregory Whitfield.
 
It was determined through the investigation that Whitfield was connected to the Vagos outlaw motorcycle gang. Due to this information and the fact that several high powered rifles had been stolen, the Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau, “SWAT” team was called in to serve the search warrant .
 
Detained at the location after the service of the warrant was Robert Fullbright 74, Nicole Benson 31, and Christopher Geseel 32, all of Lancaster. The location was then searched by the Burglary Suppression Team, assisted by the Lancaster Station LANCAP Team, and the TOP/CORE Teams.
 
During the search, 10 rifles, shotguns and pistols were recovered, along with both gold and silver coins, jewelry and other items taken during the burglary on 2/7/12, all of which were positively identified by the burglary victim. Based on the stolen property recovered, Gregory Whitfield faces additional charges of burglary and receiving stolen property.
 
Robert Fulbright, who is a member of the Vagos motorcycle gang was charged with possession of stolen property, Nicole Benson, who is currently on felony probation for narcotics, was charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition, and Christopher Geseel was charged with being a parolee at large.
 
All suspects are being held at the Lancaster Station Jail. The investigation is continuing.
